Sorry for not updating earlier. I was a bit busy with the whole kit and kaboodle of holidays. But now that I have the chance (and wifi) I will catch you up on what we have done! We have left Tokyo and done quite a few things since then. First we caught a bullet train to the outskirts of a city called Osaka. We stayed there in an apartment for two days and explored the inner city. However the outskirts are not a touristy place as there were a lot of local people. By the way, I have bought a pair of really cool aviator sunglasses which make me look like a movie star. Then we caught another bullet train to Hiroshima. You may have heard of this huge city as it has an important history. Here’s why. Right at the end of the Second World War, in the year 1945 the Americans dropped a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima which destroyed the entire city. Only one building was left standing. 🙁 We were in Hiroshima for another two days (they rebuilt the city of course) until we packed our bags, got on another bullet train and arrived in another city called Wakayama. And that is were I am now. We are staying in an apartment overlooking the river, and things are quite peaceful. And that is all I have to say.
